Up to now this is what the police just told me, hes been charged with harassment and assault, he's not allowed within 100 metres of my address, he cannot contact me directly or through a third party, he can;t text or call me....now my problem is...how does this affect Shanna....Maybe I am a bad mum

You have done your best to protect yourself and her from him, haven't you? She knows what he's like and what he's done. How does that make you a bad mum?
You've got to start to understand that you are better than you think you are. It's difficult and it takes time, I know, and you've probably heard that said to you until you're sick of it, but it is true.
Took me ages to get myself to believe in myself, and sometimes I still have doubts.

I just feel like I have failed somehow, he doesn't care much about her, but I can't tell her the things he has said, she has to see it for herself.
Although lately he's been saying stuff to her, saying she is a liar etc...not nice
